This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It keeps DocDiff safe and reliable for everyone.
Content you upload
Don't upload content that:
- you don't have the right to share, or that breaks a confidentiality obligation;
- is illegal, or infringes anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights;
- contains malware or anything designed to harm systems;
- contains patients' health information (such as protected health information under US HIPAA), payment card data, government ID numbers, or other sensitive personal data, unless we have agreed to it in writing. DocDiff is not currently offered as a HIPAA business associate service.
Using the Service
Don't:
- try to get into accounts, workspaces or data that aren't yours;
- probe, scan or test our systems for weaknesses, except through responsible disclosure (below);
- overload the Service, or get around rate limits or other usage limits;
- share sign-in access or resell the Service without our written agreement;
- copy, reverse engineer or scrape the Service to build a competing product;
- use the Service to harass, deceive or harm anyone.
Responsible disclosure
If you find a security issue, email security@orivantlabs.com with the details and give us reasonable time to fix it before telling anyone else. Don't access more data than you need to show the issue, and don't harm other users. We won't take legal action against good-faith research that follows these rules.
What we do about misuse
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend accounts that break this policy, and report illegal activity to the authorities. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
